Answer: Option A
Explanation:- The Writer clearly states in the last part of his statement, that he should or should not be inclined to call him intelligent. The only option, which reflects that intention, is the first option and thus is the answer.

Ans:  The world got/ heard the omen of great recession just at the start of the ongoing pandemic. The outbreak of the Covid-19 brought a stalemate on the world economy just at the beginning of the last year. The growth at the different sectors including industrial production and tourism sectors came to the negative level. The stillness was seen in the international trade too. At that time the world downfall that appeared in the world economy hit the economy of Bangladesh too. Due to the impact of the pandemic, all the economic indices were on the lower trend until the end of the last year. The unemployment and the poverty also increased. The revenue declined. The levels of transactions in the banking sectors too got down. The loan growth saw the declining trend. But to the last the Bangladeshi economy was able to avoid the downfall of the vast dimension. Rather at this moment the good news of recovery from the sluggishness caused by the pandemic is being heard on the central bank’s information. The different statistics of Bangladesh Bank inform/ confirm that the economy of the country is now returning to the pre corona situation.
