Global warming is already having significant and costly effects on our communities, our health, and our climate. Global warming is a long-term rise in the average temperature of the Earth’s climate system, an aspect of climate change shown by temperature measurements and by multiple effects of the warming. Unless we take immediate action to reduce global warming emissions, these impacts will continue to intensify, grow ever more costly and damaging, and increasingly affect the entire planet including you, your community, and your family. In the modern context the terms global warming and climate change are commonly used interchangeably,[6] but climate change includes both global warming and its effects, such as changes to precipitation and impacts that differ by region.  In 2013, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Fifth Assessment Report concluded, “It is extremely likely that human influence has been the dominant cause of the observed warming since the mid-20th century. The largest human influence has been the emission of greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide. Climate model projections summarized in the report indicated that during the 21st century, the global surface temperature is likely to rise a further 0.3 to 1.7 °C (0.5 to 3.1 °F) to 2.6 to 4.8 °C (4.7 to 8.6 °F). Future climate change effects are expected to include rising sea levels, ocean acidification, regional changes in precipitation, and expansion of deserts in the subtropics.  Possible societal responses to global warming include mitigation by emissions reduction, adaptation to its effects, and possible future climate engineering. Almost all countries are parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC),[24] whose ultimate objective is to prevent dangerous anthropogenic climate change. he greenhouse effect is the process by which absorption and emission of infrared radiation by gases in a planet’s atmosphere warm its lower atmosphere and surface. Mitigation of climate change is the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, or the enhancement of the capacity of carbon sinks to absorb greenhouse gases from the atmosphere

কর্তৃকারকের প্রকারভেদঃ

ক. কর্তৃকারক বাক্যের ক্রিয়া সম্পাদনের বৈচিত্র্য বা বৈশিষ্ট্য অনুযায়ী চার প্রকারের হয়ে থাকে:
১. মুখ্য কর্তা: যে নিজে নিজেই ক্রিয়া সম্পাদন করে, সে মুখ্য কর্তা। যেমন- ছেলেরা ফুটবল খেলছে। মুষলধারে বৃষ্টি পড়ছে।
২. প্রযোজক কর্তা: মূল কর্তা যখন অন্যকে কোনো কাজে নিয়োজিত করে তা সম্পন্ন করায়, তখন তাকে প্রযোজক কর্তা বলে। যেমন- শিক্ষক ছাত্রদের ব্যাকরণ পড়াচ্ছেন।
৩. প্রযোজ্য কর্তা: মূল কর্তার করণীয় কার্য যাকে দিয়ে সম্পাদিত হয়, তাকে প্রযোজ্য কর্তা বলা হয়। ওপরের বাক্যে ‘ছাত্র’ প্রযোজ্য কর্তা। তদ্রুপ- রাখাল (প্রযোজক কর্তা) গরুকে (প্রযোজ্য কর্তা) ঘাস খাওয়ায়।
৪. ব্যতিহার কর্তা: কোনো বাক্যে যে দুটো কর্তা একত্রে একজাতীয় ক্রিয়া সম্পাদন করে, তাদের ব্যতিহার কর্তা বলে। যেমন- বাঘে-মহিষে এক ঘাটে জল খায়। রাজায়-রাজায় লড়াই, উলুখাগড়ার প্রাণান্ত।

খ. বাক্যের বাচ্য বা প্রকাশভঙ্গি অনুসারে কর্তা তিন রকমের হতে পারে:
১. কর্মবাচ্যের কর্তা (কর্মপদের প্রাধান্যসূচক বাক্যে): পুলিশ দ্বারা চোর ধৃত হয়েছে।
২. ভাববাচ্যের কর্তা (ক্রিয়ার প্রাধান্যসূচক বাক্যে): আমার যাওয়া হবে না।
৩. কর্ম-কর্তৃবাচ্যের কর্তা (বাক্যে কর্মপদই কর্তৃস্থানীয়): বাঁশি বাজে। কলমটা লেখে ভালো।

ব্যতিহার কর্তার উদাহরণঃ রাজায়-রাজায় যুদ্ধ করে আর উলুখাগড়ার  প্রাণ যায়।
